Where our Easy Read images come from

We use images to make documents easier to understand. Our images come from two sources.

Example of a Bonnington symbol

Most of our images come from the Bonnington Symbol System. These are Easy Read images that help people with learning disabilities understand information.

Created by: Tom Orr and Edinburgh Council

Edinburgh Council made these symbols free for everyone to use. This helps organisations create accessible documents.
